Draft · Effective date pending operator confirmation
Jarvis Social Connector is an owner-operated integration being built to connect the account owner’s approved social accounts to the Jarvis local command system.
This policy explains how the service handles information for authorized account-management and publishing workflows. It also covers this informational website. Customer accounts are not currently supported. The operator uses the Stream Sniper brand; no separate legal entity is represented here.
1. Information processed
The information available to the connector depends on the provider, the owner’s authorization, and the permissions actually granted. Where permitted and needed for an approved workflow, it may process:
- Connection data: OAuth access and refresh tokens, platform account identifiers, permission scopes, connection state, and token expiry information.
- Account information: account names, profile details, and other permitted account metadata.
- Content and publication data: media intentionally supplied by the owner, captions, post identifiers, timestamps, publication status, and provider responses.
- Performance information: permitted analytics or performance data for authorized accounts or posts.
- Operational records: application errors, action timestamps, connection events, and security records needed to operate and troubleshoot the connector.
- Contact requests: information you choose to send to the operator, including your email address and request details.
The connector does not ask for social account passwords or store them in ordinary application data. Authentication takes place through the provider’s official authorization flow where supported.
2. How information is used
Information is used to maintain authorized connections, determine available permissions, prepare and route approved content, record the results of permitted actions, retrieve permitted performance information, troubleshoot issues, and respond to privacy or support requests.
Personal data is not sold or used for unrelated advertising. Authorization does not grant unrestricted autonomous posting. Actions remain subject to owner approval, provider permissions, and platform restrictions.
3. This website
This website has no account registration, analytics, advertising trackers, or application cookies configured. Its hosting provider may process ordinary request information, such as IP addresses, browser details, and request timestamps, to deliver and protect the site. Reading this website does not connect a social account.
4. Storage and security
The connector is designed to handle credentials and tokens through secure credential storage, separate from ordinary application data. Other workflow data and operational records may be stored in the operator’s local Jarvis environment and in the relevant provider’s systems. Access is limited to the operator and systems needed for approved workflows.
The intended security approach includes limiting granted permissions, protecting credential access, and avoiding raw tokens in routine logs. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. This policy does not claim an independent security certification.
5. Providers and disclosures
Authorized account actions require exchanging relevant information with the applicable social platform. Website hosting and communications providers may process information needed to deliver their services. Information may also be disclosed when required by applicable law or necessary to investigate misuse or protect the service.
Platform authentication and the platform’s handling of information are also governed by that provider’s own terms and privacy policies. Authorizing the connector does not replace those policies. No platform partnership or endorsement is claimed.
6. Retention
Connection credentials are retained only while needed for an authorized connection and are removed from active credential storage when the connection is removed. Workflow records and logs are kept only as long as needed for the relevant workflow, troubleshooting, security, or applicable obligations, and should be removed when no longer needed. There is no single fixed retention period represented for all record types.
Any backup copies may persist until the applicable backup rotation completes. Records retained to meet an obligation are restricted to that purpose. Platform-held copies follow the platform’s own retention rules.
7. Revocation and deletion
You can revoke the connector’s access in the platform’s account or connected-app settings. Revocation prevents future access under the revoked authorization; it does not automatically remove previously stored workflow records or posts already published on the platform.
To request deletion of connector-held information or ask about retained data, use the operator contact details. Identify the relevant platform and account, but do not send passwords or tokens. The operator may ask for enough information to verify authority over the account and will explain any information that must be retained. Manage or delete platform-held posts through that platform.
8. Children’s privacy
The service is intended for the adult account owner and is not directed to children under 13. The operator does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact the operator if you believe such information has been provided so it can be reviewed and removed as appropriate. Platform age requirements also apply.
9. Changes to this policy
The operator may update this policy when the service or its data practices change. The revised policy and effective date will be posted on this page. Material changes to authorized data use may require renewed notice or authorization.
10. Contact
For privacy questions or deletion requests, contact the operator of Jarvis Social Connector.
